I am indeed very hurt JOM, it's a good job that I don't wear my heart on my sleeve, that would be just too damned messy.

I have been to Venice, it smells unless you are there in the winter and it is sinking. Nick and a sinking city now what could possibly go wrong? rubschin:

I can swim and scuba dive, I have a snorkel and I am not afraid to use it.  I hope that helps my case.  When I say case I don't mean a receptacle for holding my clothes....Oh never mind. sad24:
I have always thought that the worst thing about drowning was having to call 'help!' You must look such a fool. It's put me against drowning.

Thank you for that observation which agrees with my own.

Normally if I say Venice is pongy it is poo-pooed, so to speak.

No doubt sweaty ginger people will be immune.

I went to Venice many moons ago for a Valentines treat. It was also the Carnival and we watched the boats all go through the waterways with candlelight all around. Then went to this fab masquerade ball.

Was not smelly but then was cold.

At best Nick falls out of a gondola, at worst..............Atlantis take 2.  rubschin:
