The forum actually uses two servers (both in Boston)....

You'll find that when it is gubbed you can still get into  the home page (http://www.virtual-pub.com/)...

That resides on a different server to the database that the forum uses... It is useless without the database...

Unfortunately, we share the database server with lots of other people, so if one of the other sites is exceptionally busy we suffer too...

The only way around this is to have our own server but that is much more expensive....

The site was down again first thing this morning....

I complained to tech support but by the time they got back to me it was working again.
