The LFC footie forum I frequent use summat called 'forums powered by UBB threads', and they are ded quick like.
Dunno how much they are,  but there's a lot of 'traffic' in there as you can imagine.
gets a bit slow at transfer deadline time like, but generally quite good.

I personally use  'Proboards' for my lickle forum, and it's FREE!!
Never had any trouble at all in 5 years either.

Only got 5 of us in there mind.

Well, we transferred to the #1 host for this type of forum. And I'm not changing again.... 

Please explain in more detail. I'm actually intrigued.

I have checked your website http://www.virtual-pub.com/SMF/index.php functionality in different intervals of time and it's loading without any slowness. Also, there is no MySQL load issues I suggest you to check the website functionality in different ISP's.
