I have to say if yesterday was any example of how we manage crowds and travel at sporting events we are truly fecked for the Olympics this year  noooo: noooo: noooo:

There were no reservations on the train going back - not allowed. When you got to the train station you were kettled into queues depending on your destination with the great British hoy polloy trying to push past you as it was completely unacceptable that they would be expected to queue  evil:

Then they waited for the train came in and it was absolute mayhem  noooo:

2 coppers saying " please do not crush others and don't run , you'll get on the train "  noooo: noooo: noooo:

Hideous it was  noooo:

Which is what confuzzled me to be honest. They made so many mistakes on such a busy day...the town centre was chocca blocca at midday when much of the traffic was gridlocked.

As you slowly crawl past huge delivery vans that are obviously topping up the provisions for the shops and pubs etc you think why is this not being done at another time  noooo:

One of the funniest things I heard was some bloke moaning because his helicopter wasn't allowed to fly in due to a bit of low lying fog and there was no other  VIP route in  ::) I'm sure he must have needed a bath as soon as he got home  ::)
