This lot just didn't bother to turn up for work any more! (can't say as I bleme 'em)

What would you do if you scooped the big one?

TV were at the bus depot interviewing colleagues of the winning syndicate. All were saying what a great bunch of lads they were, but one said, "all I know is I've been called in for a twelve hour shift"  How many hours are they allowed to do in a shift  rubschin:

Whenever you see the recruitment stuff for bus drivers down here you see them quoting an 'average' weeks salary. Small print suggests the basic is shite but this is made up with the 'overtime'  noooo:

These things are all "relative" .... what looks like shite wages to some will look like a fortune to others.

When forced, by ill health, to take early retirement at the age of 50 my income dropped  from £45k to £17k virtually overnight. Amazing just how little one can live on when you have to...... Which is one reason we moved to Wales ~ cheaper housing!
