What is the point of all those watches with about 6 different twiddly bits at the side, multiple bevels , oojimmybits and so on ? How many times does anyone actually use them ? , let alone pay the extra hundreds of pounds cos apparently it can do this and that  noooo:

Oh gawd  noooo:

You need just one . Not an expensive one , just a simple one. It should tell the time and be a little bit waterproof. Job done .

At one time I toyed with the idea of a third sex. It has been hard enough for the race to manage with two, so I decided not to bother.

I just make the odd exception. Julian Clary, for example. And the Pope of course..
