I joined up to get a gun and shoot people - not ponce about on a horse in fancy dress!
"Political Correctness is a doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end."

Well, someone had to say it!

Where's Wally ?  rubschin:

There are far to many to even try to point them out. rubschin:

Oh bollix I have never really thought about it very much. I seem to be a royalist.  Mr C is very anti and it was his stance (as well as all the media coverage) that has made me think about it.

Cameron or any other politician for that matter, as president does not sit well with me.

As a nation we really do pomp and ceremony rather well down to and due to our rich history and for once the 'once in a life time' quotes really are the case.
I have always thought that the worst thing about drowning was having to call 'help!' You must look such a fool. It's put me against drowning.

Watched the whole thing on TV ...... Fantastic display of organisation.

Thought HM and Phillip did us proud, given their ages (She 86 He almost 91) Hope I can stand like that for nearly 4 hours when/if I reach their age.

As for the pageant ~ brilliant

AND Give that choir singing Rule Brittania etc a bloody medal each!
Nice to see all the Royals bopping to the sea shanties.  ;D

Anyone else notice the absence of Edward and Sophie? Also the Kents etc ..... Family fall out one wonders.  rubschin:

Also good to note the Cameron and Co did not appear anywhere. Blair would never have been able to resist it. noooo:
Boris was there, as he should have been, waving a flag like an excited kid ..... Good to see.
I used to have a handle on life but it broke.

Like Snoopy, I watched every minute and loved it, and echo his sentiments, quite strange since I am not a royalist

I thought Sophie was there on the same vessel as either Boris or Kate Middleton's parents though  confused:
