The universe is run by the complex interweaving of three elements. Energy, matter, and enlightened self-interest.

Good grief that brings back memories, many moons ago when I was a young and tender thing I used to go to The Stables on a regular basis. An uncle of mine is a jazz musician and so we were on first name terms with a lot of that crowd used to have very chilled out jamming sessions with some of them. George Melly and Chris Barber permanently pissed. noooo:

I too used to go there ..... when wife #1 and I separated I lived in MK....... Err, we didn't um..... You know, after a sherbet or three, "take a stroll in the moonlight to look at the river like".  redface:

Nah ~ Couldn't be .... I never forget a face. Names I'm hopeless with but faces are okay.  angel1

I can assure you that I never looked at a river like that although I have been swimming in many, there were  minor incidents in the Solent, which involved  skinny dipping during the summesr of 75 and  '76.
I have always thought that the worst thing about drowning was having to call 'help!' You must look such a fool. It's put me against drowning.
