A friend of mine has nearly had a house sale collapse this last week or so due to an muppet solicitor ...
She threatened mightily and suddenly exchanges were done and completion is due in the next day or so.
They need prodding frequently and repeatedly with something like a red hot poker... in fact a red hot poker would do nicely  eveilgrin:
