If you've got an iPhone, don't  You can get an app for ~£5 that does it.  You'll use it once, impress all your mates with it and probably (moi?) never use it again.

It's said the Russkies use them so much as a way of deterring bribe seeking rozzers

You can get really cheap ones and just leave them running...

When you see some of the accidents on those films you have to think the footage was really useful to convince the insurance (and the plod) what really happened...

There is another issue here too... a Cypriot can dive into you on a roundabout and by the time the police arrive about ten of his relatives are there all swearing that it was your fault... What chance do you have...? Shrugs:

The strange thing here is that when you have a crash you are not allowed to move the vehicles - even if it completely blocks a junction or roundabout. Then when the police arrive they decide who is guilty for insurance purposes.

kinelll that is cheap  :thumbsup:  they used to be £hundreds here

The iPhone app does have one clever feature.  If you have an accident and don't cancel it within 30 seconds it sends an email and/or phone call to your nearest and dearest saying you're brown bread.  There's probably a celebrity version with auto CDB card updating too

Was watching Interceptors on the telly before i was blinded like, and this van smashed into a Reliant Robin that burst into flames! eeek:

The van driver 'claimed' that he had to swerve to avoid a log carrying hgv that was coming towards him.
What the tosser didn't know was that there was a dashcam in the HGV, which clearly showed the rozzer that he was in fact a good couple of hundred yards from the van at the time.
Case closed and van driver nicked. :thumbsup:
