Thank god for The Who, saved the night. Anybody leaving would still be buzzing from their few minutes

As for the rest, the light show was superb again, the Bollywood/Bangra bits were good  , but the rest was just bizarre and appalling noooo:

LiFe - It's an "F" in lie

What a thouroughly miserable bunch of gits yous are. ::)
Apart from that russel brand creature who SHOULDN'T have been there, and a few random singers I'd never heard of, including that bint at the beginning that was completely tone deaf, I thought it was most excellent for a LIVE show.
The logistics of putting that show on must have been enormous. eeek:

Well done to the organisers.
ALMOST feel proud to be Inglish, but the return of misery on the news and streets will soon sort that out.

On the whole it was enjoyable, some of the singers were not to my taste, George Michael anyone?  sick2: and the Bowie bit was poor. The Who were bestest.

Most cringworthy ~ the Only Fools and Horses bit with the Michael Caine voiceover and a Robin Reliant that didn't explode properly. Also the "fashion" bit.

This was a cracker ~ Eric Idle  and a proper human cannonball at the end of his piece.

My view was that they tried to over complicate what was essentially a live concert and by doing that threw people off.

People were in the mood to celebrate - get Tom Jones back , have a bit of your Status Who  whistle: , lets be able to sing We Are the Champions, lets have a bit of Euro pop , lets have a big Bollywood dance , a bit of reggae , a bit of pop etc.

No need to go round the ring road , no need for the extragavant and wacky costumes. The flag design was great , the athletes in the mosh pits were great , some of the music was poor and the theatrics was unnecessary.

I like George Michael....not personally or in a 'manly sort of get yer kecks off' way, but some of his music.

His first song didn't sound too good, but the second one, his new single, was really good I thought, so THERE! Finger:
Brian May and his guitar solo was absolutely GIGANTICLY EPIC,  eeek: only to be spoilt by that ruddy bints squawking ommediately after, pretending she was part of Queen. evil:
Absolute travesty to the bands name. noooo:

I agree with you about Queen Growler, it felt like they were flogging a dead horse with that performance.  noooo:

I'd be careful about knocking the Petshop Boys Nick, I hear that they have inspired BM's new look after last night.  lol:

I thought it was inappropriate for him to sing his new single.

Surely just more self promotion to revive his career than singing songs people in the audience know and are familiar with and can join in with , it was to celebrate their achievements after all.
