Have to say - I agree with BM - mark 1, grade 'a' idiocy.

They pontificate and throw money about like water because a couple of thousand die on the roads!

How many die in the NHS - not because they were due to die, but because they caught summat in horsepickle!

My stepfather caught an infection on horsepickle.... 

Everybody had to scrub their hands with stuff before entering his room and when you left to stop it spreading....

Everyone apart from the dumb fuck who went around all of the patients checking their temperature and blood pressure twice a day of course....  Banghead

Oh yes! I have seen a lot of this sort of thing over the past few years.
What use is wearing a plastic apron and going from patient to patient. In one ward I was on for 12 days a couple of years ago the only person who meticulously washed his hands between each patient was the Senior Consultant and he only read each person's notes, scribbled on them and moved on to the next ~ via the hand wash! He was also the only one to wear a clean white coat.

On the same subject what's with all these fecking doctors in short sleeves (to prevent infection) who all wear a tie dangling all over the place .... IDIOTS!
