Can anyone explain to me how you can follow a sport where chaps who get a tap to the ankle writhe in pain and get carried off on a stretcher ?  In World War I blokes would fight on with a couple of missing limbs - now they are wimps largely coached by whinging continentals. The English have given the world many great institutions, but this ridiculous game is not one of them.

Down here there is a World Cup of rugby league. Another English disaster, mostly played in Lancashire as I understand it, but at least they don't dive.
I thought diving was an important part of rugby?
I mostly despair

Sounds like you would prefer the original Florentine version of soccer, Calcio Storico...

So Moyes is the new West Ham manager. Not too happy with this, he hasn't done that well since leaving Everton after all.

Possibly your least worst option right now.   Would love to see his first conversation with Hernandez
Well, whatever, nevermind

That's got to be galling for Arsene, the middle of a massive demonstration to oust Mugabe and look what sign turns up...

So let me get this right

Grace Mugabe is going to be the Arsenal manager, old Bob's is going to donate his bladder to be the training ball and Wenger is off to Harare

There has to be a simpler solution

Well, whatever, nevermind
