Don't know if it's true but just read this here and it made me laugh:

And down the road was a paper shop owned by Ron 'Chopper' Harris late of Chelsea and England. He didn't earn a squillion quid a week and when he retired he opened the aforementioned paper shop. Over the door it said "Ron Harris - Chelsea and England - Cigarettes and Confectionary". He  was alright too. No airs and graces with Ron...

I used to drive past his shop every morning on the way to work. One day, someone had painted 'Chopper' across the window. Ron washed it off. The next day it was back. This went on for about a week. In the end Ron got a bit pissed off with this - but having a sense of humour, he changed the sign to read "Chopper Harris - Chelsea and England - Cigarettes and confectionary"

I went past the next morning and somebody had painted 'Ron' across the window.
