Not in the manual of fatherhood
« on: August 17, 2012, 11:29:54 PM »
Miss Moosey had apparently fallen out with boyfriend yesterday unknown to me. ::)

All seemed perfectly ok with her today, but then a knock on the door.

No one expecting anyone, so I goes, fully expecting yet another piggin' cavity wall insulation spokespersonage to be standing there with a clip board just the right size for anal installation...sideways. Banghead

No. Boyfriend clutching a large boket of flowers, and looking mainly downwards all sheepish and sad with a wobbly bottom lip.

Well I ask you, 'cus no bugger has ever told me. Shrugs:

Think I was possibly more embarrased than him tbqatth redface:
Come all the way on public transshiteport from Liverpool too! eeek:

He only wanted to deliver the flowers and go, asking me to apologize on his behalf.

I just muttered and mumbled summat daft like, don't be daft or summat, and dragged him in.

Did I do right, or should I have been well 'ard and told him to fling 'is 'ook? rubschin:

Stand clear and let them sort it out.

That way you can only be 80% wrong.
I mostly despair

Oh goody.
My inishutive served me well then.

I do remember mumbling summat about "nowt to do with me chief" in a sort of quiet squirming diplomatic manner.

It was SO unbelievably embarrasing (for me) I tell you's.
Totally new and unexpected experience.

I did well imo. cloud9:

I just knew this uni malarky was going to cause trouble, and THAT is what started it all off apparently.

As I said earlier in a previous thread, a 3 YEAR party beckons, and young lad won't be there. whistle:

He 's a nice lad and very nice and kind to Miss Moosey, (who is actually quite a fearsome creature)  scared2:,  but a bit low and lacking in the head light bulbs dept.
Feel/felt  quite sozzy for him tbh. cry:

Uni will change relationships all round.
I have always thought that the worst thing about drowning was having to call 'help!' You must look such a fool. It's put me against drowning.

Uni will change relationships all round.

My new fear, especially after yesterday.
The penny of reality has suddenly dropped. eeek:

I now have fears of a winter of discontent looming, with 'the lad' turning up on our doorstep sobbing and pleading for me to do summat with the partying laughing happy mooselet 85 miles away. noooo:

It was NOT a pretty sight seeing him there, holding a mahoosive bunch of flowers and  in a mildly distressed state last night tbqatth, and fear the worst is yet to come. scared2:

As I said, he's not the brightest bulb in the chandalier, but he is very well mannered and pleasant.

Visons of some highly intelligent sharp scheming physcology uni studying 'new model'  in the future are NOT currently sitting comfortably with me presently. rubschin:

Me remote barricaded 'ut in the deepest and darkest of forests imaginable are calling and beckoning me, or is that classed as 'RUNNING AWAY'?

Correct, it is. cloud9:
