That's one f@@ked up family puts me in mind of one of my favourite poems....

Philip Larkin - This Be The Verse

They fuck you up, your mum and dad.
They may not mean to, but they do.
They fill you with the faults they had
And add some extra, just for you.

But they were fucked up in their turn
By fools in old-style hats and coats,
Who half the time were soppy-stern
And half at one another's throats.

Man hands on misery to man.
It deepens like a coastal shelf.
Get out as early as you can,
And don't have any kids yourself.

 ;)

Your Ma and Pa have shown you how
they dealt with things in life.
So you can do the opposite
and not have all that strife.
I mostly despair

Presumably he was eating his own bollix though, I am sure that Misty ripped them off before leaving. ;)

They are idiots...  noooo:

I went to a taverna half way up Mount Olympus once. I ordered a Greek Salid which was absolutely ghastly - well past its sell-by date.

The manager sat on the very next table eating the most fresh and tasty looking Greek salid I'd ever seen.

Needless to say we've never returned.
