If I am feeling normal (occasionally so) I take the Scottish malt devoid of contaminants.
If I am feeling sophisticated (been known) I will mix the Scottish malt with a dash of Drambuie.   

Definitely not the more peaty ones though.  confused:

You know, I never realised you could get different Drambuies! Which are the peaty ones? I'll look out for them and give them a try.

Sophisticated?

There has been an increase in Real Ale sales and the number of pubs partaking, I'm not sure I'd ever call beer sophisticated though (at least not til i grow a beard).

The rise in cider sales and rose are far from sophisticated.  Bulmers and the Irish Ones have convinced people to have a pint of ice with a drop of cider and the idiots have lapped it up.  If you want a drink at slightly above freezing point you may as well have diamond white and save some cash.

Fraid it's the Wetherspoons regulars dictating the trends again.  There has been a shift in the food types people have been eating aswell '2 for ?5.95' being a new favourite...

Why the McFatwa DS? Is it anything to do with the Golden Arches by any chance?

If it's because of the unusual use of Drambuie, it would be well to remember the origins of this golden liqueur - available here among other places

Drambuie is an abomination (in my opinion). sick2:

The phrase "based on the finest. . ." tells it all, as in mouldy Cheddar is 'based on' the concept of Stilton.

Still, I am a broad-minded man, each to his own. ;D

2 pints of Heart of Hampshire in the fridge. Stayed on the Youngs over the weekend and didn't want to mix it.
