I like Waitrose too. great restaurants/coffee shop. In the area of Hampshire that I last lived in we had a Waitrose closer to us than any other supermarket. We used to go there for coffee, lunch sometimes.
However it was frequented by yummy mummy's and then an older generations of over 65's. They all wore uniforms and none of them realised it.
I will try and find pictures but for the YM's it involved a rain coat which came down to their bums, the coat had to be green or blue, a handbag had to be diagonally across the body the bag bit to be on the hip, chino trousers or jeans would be worn jeans regular blue narrow at ankle . chinos beige also narrow at ankles. flat boat like shoes to be worn. The yummy mummy's children were always appallingly behaved and I once stood on ones hand as it was having a squalling fit on the floor which was not being dealt with.
Over 65's picture Mr and Mrs DS on a shopping trip to Waitrose.
Miss D cover your eyes.
It's an excellent place to be when they reduce their calamari on the fish counter.
