Bank card woes #396
« on: September 26, 2012, 10:27:17 AM »
SO I can't find my debit card. Hunt hgh and low. Finally call bank and cancel the card. Now have no means of getting cash and no way of retrieving train tickets for London trip tomorrow.

I have now found the card  cussing: cussing:

You should get an account with Metro Bank, like. You can pop into your branch and they'll give you a new card there and then.

Did you ring the number printed on the back of the debit card?

Just has virtually the same 'ere with 'The Mini Mooselet'.
2nd time in as many weeks.
Card had to be cancelled after 3 hours of frantasism.

Loads of crashing banging stuff and general crap flying everywhere.
Comments such as "well if you were more organised and tidy" did most catergorically NOT go down well. noooo:
New card just arrived anyway.

How long before this one goes awol? whistle:

Do you have mobile app set up  on your account ? You can transfer an amount to be picked up at an ATM  which will give you a pin code to collect it with.

Go to machine ...type in code ( no card required) money comes out of your account.

I went through a stage of losing my passport. redface:  The third one arrived with a very stern letter reminding me that it was a very important document and should be treated with great respect. redface: redface:  I have managed to hang on to the latest one for the last 5 years. angel1
I have always thought that the worst thing about drowning was having to call 'help!' You must look such a fool. It's put me against drowning.
