PS to my previous.

Eldest daughter has delivered her daughter to uni in the past week. She too took a mini fridge and was told in no uncertain terms to take it home again. Daughter #1 is a stroppy cow at the best of times and was told if she didn't stop mouthing off she would be escorted from uni by security. "We deal with your daughter not you" was what she was told.

Can you just run that bit past me again please....slowly like, as I'm a bit confused now. confused:

Translated into English - Snoopy's grandaughter has just started Uni . Her mother helped her move her stuff there.  lol:

My eldest daughter is 42 ~ Resultant child of my first marriage ~ She is mother of my granddaughter and therefore half sister to the THW and the boys.
I also have a son aged 44 from that first marriage + 3 more grandchildren.

Oh and THW is at Royal Holloway, University of London. Granddaughter is at Newcastle University.

Meanwhile eldest daughter is livid but hopefully next time she will listen to her father (ME!)

Granddaughter did not help matters by laughing when the Premises Manager threatened security escort to remove her mother.  lol:

BTW ~ THW and her BF got back from their week in Scotland (Geology Field Trip) just in time for Freshers at Holloway and posed as "Newbies". According to the overnight email they managed to scoff a load of freebies before they were spotted!

After reading all the posts, I've decided to put the decision....on ice. lol:

Will wait and see wot the rulze are first, as as predicted ::), MM can't find the rulze sheet. Banghead

IF she can 'ave one and the 'borrowing of nibbles and stuff' is creating a major problem, I'll get the Lancaster Argos to deliver one up there.

THW had a food thief in her Halls. She put food colouring into her milk and turned it blue. She said it stopped the thief and that her cocoa pops didn't taste any different.

It happens in all student halls. They are allocated a shelf in the fridge in their communal kitchen but someone is always borrowing stuff. Holloway also gave them a kitchen cupboard each but wouldn't allow them to fit locks "For security reasons" (Roughly I translate that as meaning "we want to check for drugs")

Usually the first term is spent sorting such thieving b@st@rds out and it settles down after a while.

Much the same as they will spend the first year making all sorts of new friends and the next two years trying to get rid of them.

The time passes very quickly and she'll be home for Christmas before you know it.

Why do the wimmin make such a fuss? ~ I guess it's because they realise how old they are getting but I'd not mention that to Mrs Growler if I were you.  noooo:
