ANyhoo, shouldn't she be out partying and snogging and guarding her food?

Valid point well made.

Apparently their are several chinese residents on her floor, and they and their many invited Oriental friends are permanently in the kitchen talking their native tung  confused: and cooking strange noodeley type things.
She's feeling a bit lost amongst them and wishes she'd gone to a larger more vibrant 'house' now.

She's texting in a happy tone, but between the lines I sense a slight sense of despair.

Didn't miss the young trout when she was 'ere...obviously ::), but Growler Towers is feeling a much colder and less 'busy' place without her comings, goings, messiness, noise, and general annoyances now, and weirdly, I'm actually already missing it. cry:
Not a particulary pleasant feeling. noooo:

I need to bisy meself to take me mind off things.

Think I'll go out and buy a new car!

Shouldn't really tell you this, and he'd kill me if he read this, but young G jnr was actually devastated late last night pining for his lickle sis.
It was heartbreaking to see him sob so much. cry:

He's ok now though, and he'll be slagging her off within 10 minutes when she returns no doubt! lol:

It toughens up quick again though. No time for mopsing around. Just a short lived lapse in concentration on being 'well 'ard. eveilgrin:

Growler it's a bit like when they go up to 'big school' for the first few weeks it's all very strange with lots of tears and a few tantrums, during the first term friendships come and go and by the time they go back after Christmas the best friend that was has become an enemy and the enemy has become the new bestest friend. By the end of the second term everything has settled down and in Uni's case they don't really remember the first term by then as they were too pissed.

Indeed she did.  It is a great university and a great city to be in.

She did her PGCE at Exeter. Not such a nice time as her work experience farmed her out to the wilds of Dorset.

She worked through the holidays to get a deposit for a flat and has just started teaching at a good school in Framlingham. One very proud mum. cloud9:
