Oh, and coming 'ome next weekend too apparently.

Washing machine is too expensive to use up there apparently.

I'm out all next Saturday on a rally in deepest darkest Wales too as it happens.

She seems to be settling in nicely now.

Where in Wales you off too?  When I lived just outside Clun one of the rallies used to drive past our cottage on night drives regularly.

I used to go on these from the age of 12, great fun and saw a lot of Wales country albeit at night, in the dark and have no idea where.   And for some reason they always started from Hereford.  I was the younger sister and got to tag along with my sister.

One of me favourites it is.

There's a wooden cottage deep in there,  the owners of which I got chatting to a few years ago when I was marshalling adjacent to it.
They brought me tea, butties and a CAKE on a tray too.

I might pop in and see if they're ready for selling up yet.
No leccy or running water either.

All they can hear at night is the stream running, and wildlife rustling around....and OWL'S!

I can do OWL impressions you know.

My cottage did have running water and leccy, no gas and no TV. Nearest neighbour was over a mile away.

Apart from the rallies all I could hear at night was the stream and the owls too. Here at night I can hear the river but surprisingly I very rarely hear owls. Send me yer owl impersonation like.

Tipsy had more fun than me when she was a child. One house my parents owned backed onto Malvern Common when the circus visited I used to be sent with my elder sister, bucket in hand to collect elephant dung.

I bet Tipsy had red wellies too, I only ever had green ones.

Any excuse to razz up there and give it the biffters in me weekend car...emergency like.
I've gorra a whirly orange beacon I could put on the roof too.

That is what Uni is for ~ to learn how to live independently. Mini Moose has learned a valuable life skill there. How to operate a can opener safely. The THW has been to A&E for various injuries over the past 18 months. It seems that A&E Units close to universities see a lot of students.
