  • What a dead end job . .
"Political Correctness is a doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end."

Well, someone had to say it!

It strikes me that many knew about Jim but while they were racking in the charity money they weren't going to "kill the golden goose"

I find it amazing (but not really surprising I suppose) that the BBC is making such a balls up of this.  For the last few days there has been bull shite by the shovel full coming out of the place as everyone tries to cover their arses and protest that 'they didn't know'. My arse you didn't know and whilst I am on my soap box we have now had three days or more of whinging and hand wringing about how damaging this is for the BBC. It's your own bloody fault you arse wipes and there are victims in this fiasco they are not getting a look in.

Wonder how many more victims will come forward ............. rubschin:

What I've been saying all along, and just had a heated arguement with the Mrs Owld Moose about it too.
Nowt new there then. noooo:

I'm a cynist for thinking such things apparently.

IMO they're all as bad as JS, in fact, probably worse. Bunch of parasatic leaches.

This whole thing is getting funnier by the day.
Now the MPs have had a go at the new head of BBC .. Anyone else pick up on the ridiculous statement that the BBC needs to trawl back through all the emails to the beginning of all this? .... Erm ~ Since it has allegedly been going on since the 1960s and emails have only been around for about 10 years.... How they going to do that then?  rubschin:

Seems he was at it right to the very end.
His last public appearance was at the Durham Minors' Gala.

Watched this on PQT today.  OK the use of the word 'probe' is a little unfortunate but Mr Savile is just the tip of the iceberg. If you thought 'The Profumo Affair' was scandalous this thing is going to give you apoplexy.

And as for this it makes for very chilling reading.
