There's something very bizarre about the Egyptian Coptic Christians deciding on a new Pope using the Méthode Savile    rubschin:

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/africaandindianocean/egypt/9654434/Egyptian-Coptic-Church-pick-new-Pope.html

Quote
The Egyptian Coptic Church on Sunday chose a new leader by a blindfolded altar boy picking from a cup the name of a former pharmacist turned priest to become Pope Tawadros II.

I wonder if money changed hands between the lowly and poor accuser and the very rich accused prior to the retraction rubschin:

I doubt it, more likely the accuser giving the interviewer what they want to hear so as to get their 5 minutes of fame. After all, monkeys throw shit to get attention.

It shows up the danger of taking these accusations at face value.

Plod seems to be working to the theory that anyone who appeared on Top of the Pops is a suspect.

I think it is an accepted fact that most girls who attended such shows were more than willing to get close to their favourite "stars" and if sex was involved then said girls were one up on their mates. To be complaining about it now 30 years on is too much ~ how do they hope to prove they were "raped". One person's word against another it seems to me. This was all back in the 60's and 70's when sex was a free for all anyway. Nobody cared how old anyone was .... we just fvcked like rabbits. Applying today's moral code to the past is just stupid.

IF Saville did molest helpless and vulnerable patients that is another matter but don't let's confuse the two.
I used to have a handle on life but it broke.
