I see the torch and pitchfork brigade are out and about.

Dave Lee Travis sentence to be reviewed

The attorney general's office said four people had complained later that day that the sentence was "unduly lenient".
seemed about right for the actual conviction imho
Well, whatever, nevermind

Apparently she complained to her boss immediately and he testified such to the court.

The Camilla Long article in the Times was very revealing too. Seems Mrs DLT either saw nothing wrong with his serial molesting or was more worried about losing the money train.

I'm inclined to take what Camilla Long has said with a touch of scepticism.

I would counsel against using the word 'touch' in the same sentence as Ms.Lang.  noooo:

Very interesting  rubschin:

Detectives have launched a criminal inquiry into suspected fraud over claims of sex abuse by Jimmy Savile, The Mail on Sunday can reveal.

It is a fair bet that some are just trying it on for cash. Not easy to prove one way or the other, which will probably make the investigation a waste of time.

The lawyers are making gazillions from his estate.....  noooo:

I still fail to see how any compensation could be awarded from his estate without any proof of his guilt....?

Good point. Well made.

Pedantry forces me to suggest that the gingerness of the author would make it an Orang Utan, thus Ape+typewriter=occasional gem.
