F*ing Paper
« on: October 09, 2012, 12:51:07 PM »
Like most normal people and just about all businesses I use the cheapest paper available that suits my printers (I have both lazer and inkjet).
Just typed a letter, printed two copies (one for recipient one for file) and then I signed it.

Now I know I am old fashioned but I always use a fountain pen. Bastard paper won't hold the ink!
Signature all smudged as the ink just runs off the paper.
I checked the pack ~ label clearly says suitable for all inks and toners  cussing:

This never used to happen when my secretary typed letters and I just signed the bloody things.

Okay ~ I can easily print another copy and use a 10p Bic Biro but that is not the point ~ I like using a fountain pen!
I used to have a handle on life but it broke.

Then I blame the chinks who made the sodding thing but we are straying from the point here!  cussing:

What is this thread about?  rubschin:

Paper I use in my printer and that many companies & schools use to ask me to sign a form not being able to cope with ink from a fountain pen. My signature ends up smudged as the ink won't dry ~ alternatively it goes straight through the fvcking paper and I find my signature has gone through the paper leaving a smudge on the other side and another copy of the signature beneath on the blotting paper.

"Political Correctness is a doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end."

Well, someone had to say it!
