Dunno if it's the drugs or summat, but been having some dead odd thoughts and asking meself some really weird questions that are sending me into deep confuzle and puzzlemeunt. 

What would happen if you could drill a mahoosive hole RIGHT through the earth, through the center and out the other side, and then jump in it wearing suitable attire that would protect you from the rather tastily warm core?
Would you simply hover in the middle, as gravity would surely be equal on both sides of the hole, and there wouldn't be an up or down ...would there?
