Spent a lot of yesterday shouting at people. Surgeon, Registrar, CEO Local Health Board etc.
Got a call last evening "Ward Sister here ~ can you bring your wife in by 8 o'clock tonight and I'll make sure she is first on the list in the morning"
Got Woodstock into hosp by 8 and sure enough she has just called to say she is gowned and ready for surgery .... 1st on the list!

Sometimes it seems to pay to shout a lot .... I suspect it was the threat to go to the press that finally did the trick.

A whole week with a dislocated shoulder, broken arm bone, splintered ball socket on shoulder and all they gave her was 3 days worth of Co-codamol and an ill fitting sling .... Damned right we are going to sue.
