We are happy to announce that GrayWebHost.com has been acquired by CoreISP.net Corporation.
After much consideration, we have determined that the situation with the downtimes as a result of DDoS attacks has deteriorated the level of quality. We wished to guarantee the uptime and quality you expect of us, but sadly couldn't adequately withstand the severe attacks due to the resources required to counter such sophisticated large-scale attacks. The acquisition should offer more protection from these attacks and a timely, permanent solution thanks to the effort of CoreISP.net's large scale infrastructure.

What will change for me?

In essence you will not observe a significant change. CoreISP's hosting products are offered at the same high level of quality bundled with premier customer service. What will change for you is the people answering your support questions, but that will be in the same friendly and personal approach you are acquainted with.
What will also change is the server your account is hosted on. To deflect the attacks, CoreISP.net is planning to spread impacted accounts over multiple servers. The speed, server support, uptime and general quality will not be degraded in any way. Most will not even notice, apart from a few minutes of downtime, that accounts were even migrated. Clients will be notified within ample time of the maintenance window. CoreISP.net will also keep the same pricing structure and the Gray Web Host brand into the considerable future.
Another change is, unfortunately, that due to PayPal's security policy all subscriptions will be removed as a result of the acquisition. Our order system will ask you to opt back in when a payment will be due again. We sincerely apologize for this inconvenience.

Rest assured, you will be in good hands: we have the utmost confidence that this transition is in the best interest of our clients.

I, Colin, would like to thank all of you for your continuous support even through the difficult times during the attacks on our infrastructure. It has been my absolute pleasure working with everyone of you while watching all of your communities and sites grow. It is with a heavy heart that I let go of something I passionately worked for, but I can't emphasize enough that this acquisition is in the best interest of you, the client, for whom I care so much!

May be becoming gubbed more regulary, (3 within the last week iirc) but at least it's still fairly quick loading during those ungubberation moments.
