It demanded my password again and it kept saying it was the forum's problem that it wasn't taking it

And the other good news is I've now (by a process of isolation) rememberised my VP password

Dear barman,

On Wednesday the 5th of July 2017, at 9PM PST (5AM GMT on the 6th), CoreISP.net will start performing network maintenance.
The maintenance window is 15 to 30 minutes. During this time, you may experience:
- Intermediate (full) downtime (which may result in DNS/resolver warnings)
- Packet loss
- Interrupted connections
- "No route to host" warnings (notably when attempting to use ping.)
We advise not to use FTP during this maintenance window, as your up/download may be interrupted; which can lead to problems with your website.

The goal of the maintenance procedures are to tenfold the network capacity by adding a new carrier to the blend of internet providers, extending internal bandwidth, and to change primary carrier routes to several parts in the world. All this combined with new network hardware. The end-result is that you will experience faster loading times and higher up- and download speeds to your website(s). Ping roundtrip times will not be affected (much).

We apologise for the late notification, due to circumstances the new carrier decided to use the 5th instead of the 17th as the date to perform the required changes to our connectivity.
