I think we need a poll to find out who we think is the grumpiest on here.  Uncle never struck me as being more grumpy than most but I am completely open minded on the subject.

If we do have a poll do we divide it into male and female and who decides the base line?

On to the OP again I am open minded.  I lived in a very old cottage in Northamptonshire built when Cromwell was doing his thing. Every so often I was aware of an 'old lady' being around and it was always accompanied by the scent of lavender. I did a bit of digging and found out who she might be.

The children would talk about her quite freely.  I never felt threatened, nor did the children and it/she was just part of the cottage.

Growler there is no reason why whatever is happening next door will spread to your home..

The  back kitchen door blinds that I definately closed 2 hours ago have mysteriously opened themselves again  scared2:....and I'm 'ere on me own...as usual like. whistle:

Be a birof excitement if  ghosty comes in 'ere anyway tbh. :thumbsup:

Mrs g has given me this leaflet to hand to my next door neighbour.
