Well you's lot that seemingly take much comfort in seeing others suffer by their misfortunes   ::) will be MOST sadened and disappointed to know that the original MOT testing station that incorrectly passed it 2 weeks ago, have been in touch, apologised profusely and offered to pay for ALL of the rectification work, i'e, welding, front wheel bearings and o/s suspension bushes replacement and a fresh mot, and if I'm not willing to do that, they've given me the option of contacting VOSA for them to assess it instead.

Obvioulsy they don't want that, and nor do I particulary either, with all the inherent ensuing mither and delays, as well as the fact that they could possibly lose their mot status and licence if proved to be negligent in their operating proceedures, and I further don't particulary want to see this  go down that road with a possible loss of a business and employee reduntancy's either.

That sounds like a result.

Indeed DS.

When the guy 'phoed me back, I was FULLY expecting him to kick off in a defensive manner, but give him his due, he actually did sound shocked and upset that these items had seemingly passed by his employees attention.
I responded by being exceedingly polite and almost sympathetic, a fact that he was seemingly relieved and grateful for.
He asked me to take it back down there, but i turned that one down due to time and costs. He understood.

Now some have said that I should have noticed these things before purchase, but it really isn't that easy when all you've got is a gravel path to lie down on in the rain.

Whatever, all I've got to do now is source the required parts. whistle:

Nah. Don't want to take the piss, and I DO actually pride meslf on being honest.....believe it or not (scouser).
IF he'd kicked off all aggresive like, well that might have been a different story.

Treat others accordingly and like you'd want to be treated yourself hopefully.

There IS a glimmer of hope for humanity after all...possibly. Shocked:

Been thinking about this more since this morning. rubschin:

Now call me a cynical owld untrusting bastard IF you so wish, but if he agrees to the quote for the werk, and it needs doing sooner rather than later, then what's to stop him NOT coughing up after the work's been done?
All the evidence for VOSA will have gone, and I won't have a leg to stand on then. rubschin:

The only way is to wait for the money first I reckon,  Banghead  yes?

Trouble is, I'm getting nagged and badgered to death. evil:
