The vibration when reaching 40mph is still there unfortunately.

Give my 'friend' his due like. After i took it out for a quick spin down the road (much less 'wandery' now) I told him it was still vibrating, and he pointed to the front o/s wheel that has two balancing  lead weights fitted........6" apart! eeek:

Balancing and checking the tyres for flat spots (been standing around for nearly 2 years) is next Saturdays ';must d'o job.

Failing that, it must be the prop shaft.

noooo:

Wha'? Shrugs:

Meanwhile, alternator and halogen headlamps on order, and 'my sparky man' is going to fit a hidden  battery cut off switch too.
Moggys and many other British classics are being stolen to order for the rapidly growing Japanese  classic car market.

If the scum want it that bad though, they'll have it regardless.

Wondering if I should get a tracker tbh. rubschin:

Just told me that MoMo is nearly out of fuel, and she needs to get to werk.
That reads to me....TAXI!! evil:

Asked why she didn't 'tank up' last night.

"Don't know how to" was the retort. ::)

Doesn't know how to open her purse more like. evil:

Told her I showed her when we first got it when I had to fill up on the way back from B'ham.
Went ouutside to check the guage anyway, and it's got just under 1/4 of a tank full left.

She's now stormed off after throwing a totally unreasonable hissy fit

MM had to call out The DICSTCCYCAHMP Service this evening (Dad. I can't start the car, can you come and help me please...for future reference like)

Told her to leave it for 10 minutes and try again, as i suspected when she told me she'd used the choke, that she'd flooded the carb and drowned the plugs ::)

Rang me back, and i could hear her churning away on the starter motor.

Bit pissed off and slightly annoyed, I finished what i was doing and drove the 6 miles to the zoo to see her sitting in MoMo in the corner of the car park.

Lobbed her out, got in, ignition on, quick tug of the starter button, and hey bleedin' presto, no problem, first time as ever (for me sparkle: )

I've been sitting here all evening wondering why this happened, and i just casually asked her....fully expecting a sarcastic "YES"....you did turn the ignition on first, DIDN'T you? rubschin:
DIDN'T YOU!!! rubschin: rubschin:

With an embarrased and increasing grin, she slid out of the room.

She's since admitted that as soon as she saw me turn the key, she realised that's what she hadn't done, but thought I'd flip if she mentioned it.

As bloody IF! Angry9:
