i checked out that Moggy Traveller today! 

fantastic condition, the guy that owned it used t use it for weddings and stuff.... 

It has been sold tho....

This is what I got...

Mentioned to Barman that Richard is getting rid of his MG F ....he said he might be interested .... shall Richard bring it up for him to have a look?  It runs perfectly, and has a new soft top and also a hard top.  It just needs a little TLC to the varnish over the paint which has started to peel off...it is white.  He has not paid the duty on it, he has checked today in Limassol as he had Pete the Greek with him, and the duty would currently be 1100 Euros....of course, you do not really need to pay it, as retired people are entitled to have a duty free car each,  Athos says the law will change soon, and no duty will be payable, but when that will happen ......who knows??  The duty payable does get less with time, we understand that on current rules, it would be 7 years before the duty expires completely, and there is no duty to pay at all, but Rona has not had to pay any at all on her cars so who can say?  It is registered here, of course. I have bought another little car for myself, and so Richard can take my Berlingo now without me being stranded, as the MG has always been a bit low for me to drive.  In other words, it is a bit in our way, we only have one parking space, and things can get a bit tight trying to get in and out.  We are thinking about paying the duty, and advertising it for 2,500, but we would be happy with 1,000 if Barman wants it.  Let me know....no pressure, but I think he could get a lot of pleasure from it, and we are happy for him to have first refusal.

  but the duty bit scares me ...........that 4 litre jeep near the airport was mine . ...

Parts ordered yesterday.
Left me a message on answer 'phone that i listened to after they'd closed last night telling me my debit card details were rejected.

Rang them this morning, and it would appear THEY wrote down two numbers the wrong way 'round.

Parts not despatched as a concequence, even though I've ordered off them before, and won't reach me until Monday now due to their incompitance....probably interupted his friggin' tea break.
His attitude and tone of voice was flippant, brusk, and couldn't give a damn.

Told them i wasn't happy and got completely blanked. No apology, no nothing.

Just emailed the MD in disgust.

Such a shame, as their range of parts is phenominal too.
Place In Munterchester will ne getting my future business when possible.

By coincidence, they've just rung me back stating that they're having problems with the tie bars manufacturer...incorrect length s coming through.

Aasked him about this clown on the desk that i spoke to, and he apologised profusely.
I asked had they had previous 'issues' with this goon, and he was very hesitant.
Pushed him suggesting vociferously that they had, and he reluctantly agreed in a roundabout sort of way.

He's asked me to re-send the complaining email to the MD now, as the one I've just sent will have gone directly to the arse that i originally spoke to apparently....and instantly deleted no doubt.
