Good point well made.
Seriously, good to see some sense being talked at last..
Hopefully it'll actually go up in value, but I didn't buy it as an investment. Certainly won't lose as much...if anything...as I would on a modernish car, for say 3K

I'm now feeling the pain that BM has had to endure over the last couple of years with MeMi, and all the slagging off he's had to patiently put up with from various clowns with no idea in here. evil:

Thanks JOM

Both myself and more importantly, MM, are both fedup and actually increasingly annoyed, as the jobs required are really not that big tbh, but this idiot is for some unknown reason, acting like a complete and utter terwat now, probably 'cus I went in there to 'chivvy' him along a bit.
He's NOT one for being 'badgered, harrased whartevered, and will dig his heels in to be downright bloody spiteful now i reckon.

One things an absolute cert now, he won't be getting anymore custom from me in the future.
His friggin'  long grey haired witch of mother cemented that one yesterday, bloody downright rude cow. cussing:

I hope you're right.

I'm reasonably hopeful of a positive outcome...eventually.
Just wish I'd never got involved with this geezer now..
He's literally got me 'over a barrel' currently, knowing full well that I physically can't remove MoMo and take it elsewhere. cussing:

Indeedeedodo. whistle:

Apart from the faults that should never have got past the mot tester, the car is actually rather sweet...as previously stated.

Quiite obvious it never even saw an mot bay which is why the boss of the garage in the Midlands is absolutely cacking himself and offering to pay in full.
An admission of total guilt without actually verbally admitting it if ever there was one.

MM is now werking at the zoo, and the shift patterns have all changed, meaning she sometimes goes in mega early and finishes early, and sometimes ...like today, lateish, and finishes lateishh as a consequence.
Not the easiest of places to commute too, so mum and dads taxis are being used to help her, but it's not always possible due to our work comitments.

We (3) were all away darn south yesterday on this family BIG birthday party bash gathering thing, so poor owld MM had to get a taxi home  which cost her a good part of what she'd actually spent all day working for. Banghead

Being compkletely stuffed on this problem, I'm going to have to consider buying another moggy now, and selling this one WNEN and or IF I ever get it back...hopefully for a small profit, as this whole situtaion is becoming completely unreasonable and intolerable now. Angry9:

He's now had it 1 day short of 6 weeks and is without a doubt now, completely taking the piss.
I put it down merely to the fact that he knows me and therefore thinks, ahh well, it's only GROWLER and he's a big softie, so he can wait 'cus he won't kick off.

Sorry, patience virtually expired now.
Talking to someone this week in the trade, and reckons the jobs that require doing are an absolute piece of piss.

Solution suggestions on a postcard please. Banghead

As we said earlier...

It isn't that he can't/won't do it but he is prioritising other jobs over yours...

You have to take it away from him or ask him what it would cost to get it done PDQ.

Sorry...  noooo:

What BM said

Mates rates work both ways. Ask for a lower rate, have to be a mate back.  I've never asked for mates rates.   Still got them though
Well, whatever, nevermind

I don't even get 'mates rates', and he wouldn't give them of you asked anyway.
He wouldn't give dissy to his own family even I reckon.

No, I take stuff there 'cus he's good at his job, well he has been in the past.
I'm at a loss wtf's up with him, as I really don't think I've upset him.

I'll give him 'til next week, then at the risk of getting slaughtered and buried on the spot, I'll ask him can he re-assemble as best he can so I can take it elsewhere i think.
He'll probably....no defo...then give me a bill for work done so far, plus storage, as that's the kind of hot head he is, and probably, no defo,  won't let me take it until I cough up.
Enough is piggin' enough now though. evil:
