buy it...........

some porsche's had rubber wing panels too......... Thumbs:

19 bids, £3650 so far, and with another week to go, Christ knows how much it'll finally go for.  eeek: eeek:

Properly cleaned up and re-commisioned to as near original as poss., it'll probably be worth in excess of 15 grand that I reckon.

Last Wednesday.......

"I'll ring the 'dodgy' mot station tomorrow, and tell them whaty I've done, and tell them how much you've paid and want refunding. I'll then text you tomorrow afternoon with the number and who to speak to"

Needless to say............. Banghead

I've now texted him twice asking has he rung them, and can he furnish me with the number if he hasn't  (which is obviously the case by virtue of the fact he's not bothered texting me) so I can face them, and probably be told to cock off.

I friggin' give up.  surrender:
Yet another nail in the coffin of my virtually completely depleted trust and faith in humanity.

You'd think being within the trade  that I'd know someone locally who is efficient reliable and won't have me kecks down and give me a right ole stiff meterphorical rodgering wouldn't you?

Sadly... I don't. Shrugs:

If I ring tomorrow and they agree to cough up, then I'll treat that as an unexpected bonus, 'cus tbqh, I'm expecting them to burst out laffin when they hear the size of the bill for what he's actually done.

Menawhile, I've just printed off me entry slip and number for MoMo for next Sunday's show. cloud9:

FAO Nick.

Did your mate ever get his/her stolen Morris Oxford back btw? rubschin:

Would he/she like me to advertise the facts and a picture on a classic car forum I frequent p'raps?
You never know, it might just be spotted, offered or jog someone's memory.

Never too late you know. noooo:
It could be moving in and out of a lock up somewhere, or one of the forum members might have seen it in the corner of a back street garage. Shrugs:

Only trying to be helpful, as these sort of thefts REALLY tits me off.

S'up to you/ him/her.
