Significant views: Would like to see a black pope.

Weird policy statement for an institution that is riddled with entrenched sexism and other views that wouldn't be deemed acceptable in a developed western society.

On the upside, just dig up JP II.  I reckon he'll be as black as any Ghanaian by now and from a distance, he'll look look like a suntenned version of old Ratzy anyway.

Job done

I still prefer Dave Allen for the job.
We are unanimous then. But seems his long term cadaverousness makes him as unacceptable to the bashed bishops as JP2

So I offer a candidate that can offer strong South American heritage (and they have fousands of catholics there) and would bring a healthy love of marmalade to the role

Paddington Bear for pope

I once got into a situation where I ended up as one of the Pope's backing singers. In St Peter's. One Easter.

Bit complicated to explain

So what was he singing then?  Please tell.  My Way?  German marching songs? Anarchy in the Vatican?  And who won the Karaoke?
