We were sat in our local a couple of years ago and a JCB digger thingy went past( public road) with a kid (9?) driving it .......all the ex-pats were shocked but one old Cyp just looked up ......and said ..don't worry that is Stelios ....that's his dad's .......... eeek: eeek:

So, how do you fix the problem of the two pipes that don't meet...?


Well, you pile up some owld rocks on either side of the hole...


Then you put an bit of owld corrugated iron on top - with a plastic pipe for a drain inspection hole...


And then you make a mould for a concrete 'cap' for the hole...


And then you liberally dose the whole thing with concrete...

Bloody cowboys! Loose slabs around the inspection pipe  noooo: 

Shoud have rammed a bit of cement bag around the inspection pipe or placed an upside-down cone in there as a sleeve

I wondered where Eric Tooley had got too  lol:

If they've arched it, yes, but it needs to be secure. T'other way is if they've seated it on brickwork (or more wood  lol: ) and surrounded it with mortar overnight (sort of been there, done that like  ;) )

Or DUCK tape  :thumbsup:

When I walked past they were pouring over the cliff with a big bit of plastic drain pipe stuck on the back of the mixer....  noooo:
