As Vinny use to say to me when I was an apprentice, "don't worry kid, you won't see it off the No. 73 bus"... buggered if I knew why, the 73 went nowhere near there  lol:

They have been 'working' on it again today... ::)

First they dumped tonnes of water on it from this tanker with a strange arrangement of wheels...  rubschin:


Then they rollered it all down with a vibrato-roller thing...



Then they buggered off... ::)

Interesting to watch the traffic coming up the road and realising at the last minute that there is a 2" deep trench across the road...  noooo:

It turns out that the 'Inspection pipe' is in fact a drain... not sure if it was supposed to be a drain or just ended up in the gutter instead of in the middle of the pavement...  noooo:
