Oh those wonderful gates. Getting to my mothers village necessitates going through them and then there is the wonderful one way system in Lyndhust on the way out. I refuse to do it in the summer now. Travel that route that is rather than

A bot blokey this, but... stop on the A31 to Stoney Cross, go left through Emery Down, emerge at Swan Green cottages t'other side of the Lyndhurst one-way system. You'll queue for two miles up Castle Malwood hill, but better than a seven mile queue into and out of Lyndhurst
