« on: February 24, 2013, 10:42:19 AM »
Been thinking about this, and it's doin' me 'ed in.

I talk and write in here, generally speaking, as i would face to face like.
YOU lot seem to be able to comprehend my script, so why oh why does everything have to be ritted the way that sum knob in the dark and distance past insist on, ey, why? Shrugs:

Take this speling malarky too. Banghead
(why 2 l's in spelling, when one will sufice, and two f's in that one too?)

I still struggle with some werds, like 'unesesery' for instance.
Is it one c and two s's?
I normally just do it one way then the other. lol:
Why is it deemed to be totally ignorant to spell it the way it sounds?

HOO has made all these poxy rools up then ey, 'cus I one a werd with him. evil:

Ackchooly "Standardised" English spelling didn't come into being until the late 17th Century when names in particular started to be spelled in a logical and standard way. This grew during the 18th Century and finally settled into the present form during the 19th Century with the spread of compulsory schooling of children.
