Next door had their wheelie bin nicked last week. ::)
I'll nip 'round and give him a hug....just in case. cloud9:

Would this be the chap by any chance? Clicky

And you thought you were joking!

We seem to have come round to the beginning ~ Time to leave before they play The Queen!

Makes a change anyway. He's just trying to keep it on topic, a feat in itself.

Calm down old chap

Would you be calm worrying yourself sick that you're either POSSIBLY going to lose thousands of pounds worth of gear at the hands of the 'friends' of the organisers of this bloody scarecrow show, or the alternative of finding somewhere close by to move and store it all safely?
I'm hopefully going for the 2nd option, and if you've got any suggestions as to where and HOW I'm going to store it all for 4/5 days and then back again, I'd be much obliged.
The container is just not secure enough. These pikey bastards will have bolt cutters, and will take whatever they find....probably the 3 ton container too in fact.

The 3rd option of course, is to camp out there and possibly face them as they attempt their thieving in the cover of darkness. Not a particulary rosy prospect however.

I may need counselling myself in a couple of weeks, but hopefully all will go off peacefully.

Employ a security company to provide a guard overnight.

I thought so ~ but then that's what I used to sell.

Not cheap but between your insurance and theirs any losses will be more than covered and you might earn a discount or at least some brownie points from your insurers for doing so.

I can't see even scouse/pikeys nicking a puddle ~ but he can certainly insure the vehicles, sheds, contents thereof etc. At least I hope he has  eeek:

We bought a digital camera in Canada. If I can find one of the few remaining crucified scarecrows I will take a pic and post it here, in case you don't believe me.
