A Taffia Masonic person got the contract for the new road signs and has now retired to the Caribbean

In a very patient voice. The Great Orme is a huge rocky outcrop to the south of Llandudno. The Little Orme is the smaller rocky outcrop to the North of Llandudno   ::)

Or are you two barstewards just winding me up? rubschin:
Anyway this is the Little Orme. The Picture is taken from the Great Orme, on the other side of the bay.

Err . . .

Quote from: Marley's Ghost
Say hello to the Great Orme for me will you?

I would hardly have mentioned it in context of Llandudno if I weren't aware of what it was, now would I?

Spent many happy hours in Colwyn Bay and Llandudno as a nipper - lived in Shropshire in them far off days.

Have to say, I'm surprised. They seem to be about the only places in the Principality that haven't changed their names in recent years.

I used to have a handle on life but it broke.

They're just ignorant Snoops'. Take no notice. noooo:

I have many fond memories of the Great Orme.  cloud9:
Spent many a long cold wet windy dark night up there, clinging onto a grassy embankment watching all my heroes chucking their mk1 Essys around the bends on the Daily Mirror RAC rally. They were the days. ::)

More recently, I've ventured onto the dry ski slope, but they've managed to bollox that up now with the new one piece surface they've recently installed. Downright bloody dangerous imo. eeek:

Ever stayed in the lighthouse B&B on the right half way up? Fantastic!
I've been in it and visited the master bedroom. Directly outside the window is a 200 ft drop into the Irish sea. shocked003

The Great Orme, on the other side of the bay.

Beautiful. There are the grassy banks that I used to cling onto. Bloody muderous, but thousands of others did the same.
I dare say the H&S executive wouldn't allow it now though, not that the once great International Rally ever comes up here anymore anyway, bastards. evil:
