Kids of today... WARNING! Contains profanity!
« on: March 16, 2013, 09:44:13 AM »
The granddaughter is 2½...

She has more fucking toys here than she knows what to do with... LL has spent €€€€€€€€€€€€€€s on brand new toys for this visit... ::)

Toys, more toys, games, videos, stickers paint, cake making, toy kitchen, toy medical set, prams, dolls, cots, pushchairs - it looks like fucking Hamleys here!  cussing:

But she doesn't want to play with any of those - oh noes, she wants to play in the car! The real car, my Panjero, not a pretend car...  noooo:

Despite my protestations that the car is not a fucking toy they have been out there all morning 'playing at driving' with the fucking horn toot-tooting every five minutes!  Banghead

So guess fucking what? When it is time for me to go down to the bank the fucking car won't start because the battery is flat... something to do with leaving the ignition switched on, the headlights on, moving the electric seats back and forth and tooting the bastard horn all morning!

I'm well fucking annoyed me!  Angry9:

And breathe.... thanks for listening....  cloud9:

That's Bad and Sooooooooo Wrong. Children should never be allowed in the front seats of a car, even a stationary one, until they are at least 12.
Her parents are making rods for their own backs and Granny ought to know better.  evil:

Serious.   I was playing in my Dads brand new car when aged 11, not sure what I dd, I assume the handbrake wasnt on and it was just in gear.  The car rolled down the bank (on a campsite) and stopped backed into a telegraph pole.  The boot had a new shape for the summer and the bucket fitted better for camping like.  However, there were 2 girls in a tent lower down the field.  It could have all been so different......  Serious sort of, over.
It's better than I ever even knew.  They say that the world was built for two.  Only worth living if somebody is loving you.  Baby now you do.

Exactly. My kids were always kept strictly away from all sorts of machinery for obvious reasons.

Are we playing Z-Cars now by the way?

100% agree she will grow up thinking she will get everything handed to her on a plate and she can do as she likes. The parents will suffer but more importantly the child will.  One day she will need to enter the real world as we all do and she won't be able handle it. I don't understand some of today's parents they are unable to say No. I see it with my younger grandchildren no discipline. I love them to bits but my god I can only take a couple of hours... noooo:
