Children should never be allowed in the front seats of a car, even a stationary one, until they are at least 12.Her parents are making rods for their own backs and Granny ought to know better. Quite so! 100% agree she will grow up thinking she will get everything handed to her on a plate and she can do as she likes. The parents will suffer but more importantly the child will. One day she will need to enter the real world as we all do and she won't be able handle it. I don't understand some of today's parents they are unable to say No. I see it with my younger grandchildren no discipline. I love them to bits but my god I can only take a couple of hours... You forgot to say "over". Over.Sorry ... Over

Serious. I was playing in my Dads brand new car when aged 11, not sure what I dd, I assume the handbrake wasnt on and it was just in gear. The car rolled down the bank (on a campsite) and stopped backed into a telegraph pole. The boot had a new shape for the summer and the bucket fitted better for camping like. However, there were 2 girls in a tent lower down the field. It could have all been so different...... Serious sort of, over.
