How is this justice?

I've been half following this in the local papers, basically this scrote punches a number of people, including a woman and not only does he only get a curfew and suspended sentence but is allowed to go off to Thailand for a months holiday!!!! And it isn't the first time the shite has been in the dock for violence either.

Is he grateful to the court? Is he contrite? Is he bollocks!

Fucking unbelievable.

The problem is seems he wasn't convicted for violence.  The CPS prolly went for an easy guilty plea for insulting behaviour.   IMHO the CPS does that way too often to make the stats look good and is itself conspiring to pervert the course of justice. 

But adjusting the timing of a non custodial sentence to take account of a prebooked holiday does not of itself seem wrong to me.

years ago I got my face filled in by some idiot motorist who scarpered when charged and when he was found a year later got bound over in the sum of £100 to keep the peace for a year.  He then got the £100 back

CPS = Can't Possibly Serve.  I think that's how they like us to pronounce the first word
