You're probably still using Mosaic.     whistle:
"Political Correctness is a doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end."

. .Real men use FireFox like....  Thumbs:
PC tinkerers use Firefox as there are billions of almost debugged free add ons you can play with

Firefox and iExplorer users have to keep restarting their browsers as both have memory leak issues with sites developed for Chrome - like Google sites

Firefox and Chrome users have to keep refreshing pages as neither supports the auto update if newer feature only iExplorer seems to have.

But since SMF doesn't update the time code that often that's no loss unless you visit the beeb or PHP sites like  *koff* frequently

So I use Chrome

Well, whatever, nevermind

Try installing AVG 2013 free - integrates with browsers and provides a little bit more protection.

FF is becoming bloated, latest release is quite odd at times, now refuses to have to do with my my webmail (normally use Outlook but sometimes use a machine that is not configured for it).

Chrome is ok, but Google is now integrating so many of its services into one package that you have to be careful if you start to use anything other than the browser bit.

No.

Nasties usually picked up from iffy web-sites or ones with poor security - ie nasties get hidden inside adverts etc - just rolling the cursor over them can cause an infection unless you have enough security - doesn't matter what browser you are using really.

Android devices are the up and coming targets for nasties.

Were those things that the anti malware scan picked up (as mentioned above) really nasty nasties then that would have me prevented me from getting a connection?
