I know I haven't been around much but I am gutted and crying.

When I was rather aimless he was such a help. He always used to give me the sort of advice my Dad would have if he'd been here. Such a fantastic man and I am beyond sorry for Alison and the kids.

Going to go and give my boy a cuddle and have a quiet weep. Beer tonight at sunset for the chap.

From playing in the kennel

The elder of my two boys is learning to play the cornet (the younger is learning the clarinet) ~ they are both members of a local marching Silver Band.
Minor has just been practising all his exercises and again this evening he has finished with one that the Band do not play as he has been asked if, next year, he will take over duties hitherto performed by a member of the British Legion at our village war memorial on Remembrance Day ~ The old boy says he cannot go on and there is no-one else so Minimus is determined to be perfect at playing it. He practises this every evening and it take me back so far ........ It often brings tears to my eyes as the 12 year old gives it his all. He is nearly there but he says "I have to be perfect to do it".
I know I shall weep buckets when he does it for real.
Many passers by pause outside our house when he plays it.

Just had a long call with Alison. I was crying. Funeral will be in Rhos on Sea after May 14th. Donations to British Heart Foundation.

Boys are devastated, THW (Amy) on way home. She is going ahead with the house sale.

She is brave and adrenalinised.

Told her to eat and look after the kids

I will be speaking to her again. Too upset to tell you the rest at present

Dear All,

From a very absent Landlady I would just like to say that we (me and him) are truly devastated and saddened to learn of Snoopy's passing this morning.

In times when I was a more regular participant of the pub banter my memories of Snoopy are  that you could always rely on him to turn the topic into some form of cheeky banter  ;D Most times insisting on being patted and having his tummy rubbed, or slipped a crisp or two under the table - which is the right of every much loved loyal pub hound!!!!

He will truly and sincerely be very much missed.

My personal sympathies go out to not only his family, but also all his pub friends who will, I am sure, raise a glass to him tonight.

God bless all and well done Mr. Nick for being the liaison from all his friends here to Alison and the family.

Much love
Lyn (aka Landlady) xx

Never one to miss a opportunity ey you? whistle:

I'm going up 'me 'ill' tonight, and i shall look down towards the area he lived in, raise a bottle of J2O to him, and have a little mutter and grumble towards him too.
If he answers me back, I forecast a FULL rant, quickly followed by men in white coats in a hellicopeter.
