Back. Early, as predicted due to appauling shitty weather from 11:30 onwards...again. Banghead

Car and me covered in mud. Interior soaked, exterior of me drippin cold and squidgy. sick2:
Nearly as cold as January with that freezing gale blowing.

Pissed right off. cussing:

Get cleaning ..........

Why bother?
It's still pissing down. Banghead
.

Can't even put it in its nest as it's soaking wet and  baked in wet shitty mud and grass underneath.

Need to jet wash it and let the wind dry it out underneath before it goes back inside, otherwise any slight trace of rust will accelarate.
I envy you with your generally dry climate. cry:

Many were  packing up and leaving by 1pm, all thouroughly drenched and  totally pissed off. Banghead

Such a shame, as their was a very good turnout of exhibitors too.
Beautiful original DB5, 2 owners from new, immaculate and owned by a very proud (justifiably) elderely gentleman for 45 years.

Car of the show imo was a 1965 barn find Vauhall Viva HA STANDARD. cloud9:
The only remaining one in existance apparently.
Road worthy, but absolutely hanging, just as he found it from its 1 previous armed forces owner.

Interior was absolutely bersting with cobwebs and dust.
Looked like summat out of a horror movie!! lol:

Atrracting mahoosive amounts of attention due to the unique way in showing a car.

Plenty of extremely faded weather beaten grey original paint, dull as dull could be, loads of surface rust, but generally very straight, and with only 43k on the clock too!

Next to it was also an HA, fully refurbished but chavved up.
Think the owner was getting decidely pissed off 'cus all the attention was with the UNMOLESTED Mad Max version. Thumbs:

Talking of unmolested classics, there was also a very very nice and rare vauxhall Cresta estate there, in the then available, amazingly, pink and white colour scheme. eeek:

Absolutely original apart from some absolutely gross vile and disgusting chromed wheel plates that covered the entire wheels.

WHY FFS?  Shrugs:
Completely ruined an otherwise mint motor. sad32:

They'd have been problee been chucked of site if they'd dared. lol:

Was an absolutely thouroughly stonking Mk2 Fiesta XR2 there, totally original, no paintwork, completely unmarked, genuine 32k on the clock.
Just looked like brand new. Shocked:

Excellent read that Apey, but also extremely sad too. sad32:

Must do a check to see just how many, or few, Fiesta mk1's are left. eeek:

Did a check a while ago on my AX GT, as mine was one of about 50 that were registered by Citroen UK upon release.

ALL of them were showing as 'tax liabilty due' on such a such date...years back...latest 2006 iirc, which in essence means they've either been scrapped or moved abroad.
Mine was the only one to be showing as sorned. eeek:

There are a few others around still, but probably less than 100 now.
