Why aren't there many epic dramatic events going on? In history there are so many powerful dramatic epic moments World war 2 World war 1 Black Death Sack of Rome St Bartholomew Massacre Spanish Inquisition Great Depression etc... Nowadays you never really get an epic dramatic event with death and tragedy We are living in very unpoetic times.
